Another round of celebrity gbas gbos has landed as VeryDarkMan responds to an apparent jab from Zlatan Ibile, dragging the rapper’s music and recent wedding into the exchange.

The drama follows a preview of “INFERNO,” featuring Zlatan, Peruzzi and Shoday. A lyric referencing “Vincent” caught listeners’ attention, with fans interpreting it as a swipe at VeryDarkMan, whose full name is Martins Vincent Otse. Zlatan has not explicitly confirmed that interpretation.

VDM responded in a video circulating on October 28. The outspoken critic claimed Zlatan had used his wedding to promote an album that failed to gain enough attention, before taking another swipe by suggesting the wedding itself also failed to “blow.”

VDM then challenged the song to hold the number-one position on Apple Music for a full month, saying he would be disappointed if it failed to do so. His comments about the wedding and album represent his opinion, rather than verified assessments of their success.

The exchange comes just days after Zlatan and his longtime partner, Davita Lamai, celebrated their traditional wedding in Lagos on October 24. Entertainment personalities, including Davido, attended the ceremony.

For now, a lyric fans linked to VDM has turned into a public exchange involving music, chart expectations and wedding shade.

NaijaGossip readers, did VDM take the clapback too far by bringing Zlatan’s wedding into it?
